Inauguration of Dhaka Weaving House
09-Oct-2021A dream house for local marginalized women of Bote Tole, Kawasoti (Gandaki Province) was inaugurated by the Mayor Ms. Chandrakala Pun with so much enthusiasm. This House shall give the local women opportunities to weave Dhaka shawls, scarves, mufflers, and sarees and sell those handmade products to local and international market with the right facilitation from Videh Foundation and other relevant stakeholders.
A training turning to a sustainable women entrepreneurship model; this social initiative collaborates local government, private sector, international charitable organizations and the enthusiast local women.
