Installation of first Ice Stupa in Nepal

We are so emotional, profoundly happy and absolutely humbled to share you all this update. We have technically installed the first Ice Stupa in Nepal at Chhoser Village, Lo Manthang Rural Municipality, Mustang (Gandaki Province). It's a historic moment for all of us. This is a completely new experience for the villagers and for our team too. Ice Stupa is a form of artificial glacier that has so much prospects of freezing and holding the water which could be utilized during the acute dry season when the fields need watering. Also, these Ice Stupas could be important platform to enhance "Green Tourism" through its unique appearance and eco-friendly mechanism.

Nepal has a very high possibilities of constructing such Ice Stupas in its Northern Landscapes and promote avenues for irrigation and green tourism.
